  1. I want to begin by expressing my deepest apologies for not being able to attend in person today due to work commitments. My thoughts and heart are with all of you as we gather to celebrate the life of my Auntie Ursula.

Auntie Ursula was a woman of incredible strength and grace. As my mother’s oldest sister, she carried the wisdom of their generation and shared it with all of us in ways that were both subtle and heartfelt.

If you ever needed her, she would always be there. Her selflessness shone through not just in her own family life but also in her community and charity work. She had an extraordinary way of reaching out to people, offering support and kindness with a truly emotional and compassionate touch.this was was evident as she was by my own mother side as she passed being support for my dad and my family.

She was also a woman of many hidden talents. I have fond memories of her teaching me how to be savvy when I was younger, passing on invaluable tips about cooking, sewing, and managing a household. Those lessons have stayed with me and are a part of her legacy that I carry forward.
While I can’t be there in person, I am holding her memory close and honoring her in my heart .
    Thank you
    Tanya Macdonald
