It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas George Richard Wardman, who passed away peacefully on the 28th May 2026, aged 90 years.
Beloved husband of Shirley, cherished father of Mereyn, Peter, Daryl, and Sharon, and much-loved grandfather of Tareyn, Tennille, Darren, Lauren, Michaela, Brooke, Saxon, Corey, Taylah, Tenae, Summer, and Max. Proud great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren.
Thomas was also a dear brother to Ray and Eric and will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends.
Tom was the type of person to put a smile on your face no matter who you were, he was the true blue Aussie you’d ever meet. He loved his wife and his family very much and never shied away from his happy hour. He was a proud St George Dragons supporter, even when they lost consistently. He loved his Fords, especially the Mustang, you would always see him in his Ford shirts.

Tom was the kind of person who could light up a room without even trying. No matter who you were, he had a way of putting a smile on your face.
Tom also knew how to enjoy life. He never shied away from his happy hour, sharing a drink, a story, and plenty of laughs with those around him. Those moments—simple, genuine, and full of joy—are the ones that will stay with us forever.
Though he may be gone, the smiles he created, the love he gave, and the memories he leaves behind will live on in all of us.
Rest easy, Tom. You’ll never be forgotten.
