I first met Rob when he became Secretary Manager of the Candelo Bowlo, he was a good mate of my dad’s & was a friend to all who went to the club.
Rob put the Bowlo on the map, bringing many bands and entertainers to the club in his time there.
He was a top bloke & my whole family thought a lot of him
Sincerest sympathy to Val & family.
R.I.P. Frog, gone but not forgotten 😢

Rob (Frog) was a gtreat entertainer, with the crab racers. Let the locals entertain some of the patrons with their singing and musical instruments. Bands that use to rock the walls of the pub and the town. Brought AFL to the town and had a young team.
RIP Rob.
Lots of love to Val and Family 💓vale Frog!
I first met Frog when I came to Tathra in 1990 while having drinks after a game of cricket at Lawrence Park. Instantly likeable, he and I got on like a house on fire – he had a wonderful sense of community, sponsored everything from cricket to AFL ( one of his passions) to the guy crossing the road from the car park to his pub! Through him my young children got to meet some of the best musicians in Australia and I myself was a regular recipient of his generosity.
A great entertainer and entrepreneur, Robert, as I often called him, made people laugh and knew more than most how to have a good time, even if he wasn’t the world’s greatest singer!
Tathra would not have been as great a place to live if he and his family weren’t part of it. Ah the good old days!!!
RIP Frog.
