A legend of a man. He and my father and quite a few others joined the Police in 1951. Dad often spoke well of “Trooper”, as did all who knew him or served under his command.
Their friendship endured throughout my father’s life, with Trooper being part of a contingent to visit him at home shortly before Dad’s death.
I also had the opportunity to be under his command for a short time whilst he was at Tumut.
R.I.P
He was a great man a true Police officer. We lived near him whilst he was stationed in Candelo.
It was a very great privilege to have known John, he was a wonderful Father In-law to my Daughter, lovely Grandfather to my Grandson Luca.
My Sincere Condolences to Nora John’s Wife, his Son Graham, Daughter Juanita, Son Wayne, Grandson Luca, Diana Daughter In-law, Juanita’s Partner Kevin, and all other Family members. R I P John 🙏🏻💜
Love and Care sent Mina.
