Lovely memories of Jo. Listening to her beautiful voice in St John’s.
Also her pristine handkerchief on her right wrist.
Rip Jo.
Jo’s very special gift to each local parishioner was a birthday card with a loving and encouraging message. We will miss you Jo. You were a very special friend to us all. You were the epitome of what a Christian should be and a faithful and tireless servant of your Church and the Lord. You are sadly missed but we give thanks for your loving friendship. …from Leona and Brian Cairns..
Such a spritely, interesting and friendly person,” Dode” has bounced in and out of my life over many years through my friendship with her wonderful caring niece Clair. She will certainly leave a big gap in the lives of Clair and Pete and their family.
How we will all miss Jo. An inspiration to us all with her Christian faith. She loved our Lord and always made sure we did everything right at church. Her chats on the phone were always lively and encouraging. Even recovering from a broken leg Jo was still out working in her garden at 96 years of age. Jo’s gardening and plants were another love. Her support of the Bush Church Aid continued right up to this year. Jo’s love and friendship will never be forgotten.
