Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family after a courageous battle on Thursday 20th of October 2022. Beloved wife of Rodney. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Carolyn and Murray, Dianne and Jack. Much loved Nan of Melissa and Pat, Natasha and Brooke, Brooke and Charley, Stacey, Guy and G-ma of Stella and Piper. Darlene will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Darlene’s funeral Service to be held at H Parsons Funeral Home, 4 Princes Highway, Dapto on Thursday 27th of October 2022 at 2pm. Please dress in Christmas colours and/or Christmas themed clothing.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Port Kembla Palliative Care would be appreciated.

Sad to read this. I met Darlene while attending DHS in the late 60s and again through my work with work experience students at The Mercury. I have nothing but fond & happy memories of this lovely lady. May she rest peacefully.
