My commiserations to Joan and her family at this sad time. This photo of Chris is a true reflection of how he is remembered- fun loving and always ready with a joke and always prepared to give good advice on all matters to do with croquet. It won’t be the same without him.

We will never forget you Chris and our thoughts are with Joan and your family. A true gentleman and a wonderful friend. You and Joan did so much for WCC and you will be sadly missed. I laughed when you first called me “Brownie” but now I will miss you calling me that. We will remember you often. Janelle and Lynn

Chris was a great friend who taught me a lot about croquet strategies, tricks and rules. His refusal to go to the “Dark Side” made me laugh. His banter and stirring always made croquet special. Chris and Joan were the driving force behind ensuring that the club competitions, and the presentation day were a success.
Lillian and I would like to convey our sincerest condolences to Joan and family. Chris will be greatly missed.
