Shirley was my Mum’s (Joan Sheppard nee Brunton) best friend. Mum was Max & Shirley’s bridesmaid.
Mum always valued Shirley’s friendship.
Shirley (& Max) always showed me love & kindness whenever I saw them.
She holds a special place In my heart & will always be remembered fondly.
I remember with fondness our family visits to Eden to see Aunty Shirley and Uncle Max. A short walk over the road from Nanna and Dad dads house.
She always looked after me like I was one of her kids. Her love, warmth and generosity were just a few of her wonderful traits.
She has gone to be with Max and a happier place.
Shirley may you Rest in Peace now
Lots of love always
Stephen Brown
We always tried to make time to visit my much loved cousin Shirley, and Max over the years, when back down the coast. We have wonderful memories of time spent with them, they were such a lovely couple always happy, caring and welcoming.
Shirley was a very talented artist her paintings and pottery were magnificent.
We send our love and deepest sympathy to her family, you are all in our thoughts.
Shirley will be sadly missed by them, and all her knew her.
We thank Robin for contacting us to let us know of Shirley’s passing, and for meeting up with us when we visited Shirley last September.
Rest in peace with Max now Shirley.
