  3. Auntie Di, Uncle Roy felt so much more than a great uncle to me — he was like a grandpa. His incredible sense of humour could always make me smile, no matter what. I’ll always be grateful for the laughs, the stories, and the steady presence you both brought into my life since moving to Aus.
I have no doubt he’s up there already, pulling Grandma’s leg and keeping everyone entertained!
Sending you all my love x

  4. Dear Di,
We are very sad to hear that Roy has passed, but he leaves behind so many wonderful memories. That wonderful sense of humour shone through his messages, together with the feeling of mischief just waiting behind that signature twinkle in his eye.
Sending you all our love and best wishes from the UK
    Valerie and Ray xx

  9. Such a lovely tribute from the family and fitting for such a character, Roy. Always smiling, from a special generation that knew right from wrong, worked hard and played hard too in their deserving retirement, and yes, loved a yarn.
Thank you for your friendship with Mum and Dad on arrival in Kiama, especially your love and companionship for Dad, even during COVID when it was hard to visit. Thinking of you Di and family at this time.
I will share with Dad and will record his stories for you.
Much love, Sally Bryett ( yes, you were at my wedding, Roy xx), AKA No. 4 daughter of John Nash, formerly of Kiama Downs. x
