  4. We have lost one of, if not, the best. It was a pleasure to get to know all of you both in Vancouver as well as in Australia. There are too few people like Ron and I think of our contacts often.

  5. Ron and Julie Davis have been the most generous and loving people in my life. They welcomed me into their hearts and family. It was only a dream for me, a dream that came true.
Today in Canada, we are celebrating Thanksgiving, a celebration of the Harvest and friendships and family. Many years ago, Ron, Julie and Jen were around this very table enjoying the bounty that was our food as well as each other’s company.
I am so very thankful to have known Ron Davis and am blessed to be part of the family.
Julie, Stuart, Jen, Steve and Flynn, you are in my heart today. I did not forget to mention Gemma because she is here with me in Toronto, another blessing.

  6. Thinking of you Julie, and all the family, at this sad time.
Warm hugs from your writing tribe at The Writers Boot Camp Australia.

  7. Uncle Ron was my father’s uncle (Allan) but they grew up like brothers and remained close all their lives. I have fond memories of Uncle Ron when I was a child. He was a generous man with great sense of humour always smiling. He was fun to be around. I was very grateful to connect with him again in Brisbane when he came to my father’s funeral. He had the same old sparkle full of life and energy. He was so devoted to my Dad to travel all that way to say good bye, well I hope the two of you are together again. Dear Auntie Julie I am so sorry for your huge loss. Much love to you all. We will join the link now from London your great niece Nickie xx
