Tributes

  1. Honoured to have known this beautiful man, from Bega pony club day to our chats in the newsagents. Me deepest condolences to the family

  2. Sending condolences to all members of Allen’s family.
I have known Allen all my life & he was a true gentleman. Allen had a dry sense of humour but he didn’t put up with fools.
Allen was one most caring men that I ever met.
RIP Allen, you’ll be sadly missed by all.

  3. Fond memories of Allan attending the cattle sales in Bega with his son Neil
    Loveliest gentleman you could meet
My sincerest condolences to all the family. May you Rest In Peace Allen

  4. Our condolences to the family. Allen made us feel welcomed when we moved into the neighbourhood, we enjoyed talking with him on occasion about his horse riding adventures as a young boy and farming life in general. One of the Bega Valley locals that make this place special.

  5. Very sad for Mr Holmes’ loved ones.
Eternally grateful for the most perfect dog, Buzz, after Neil’s children asked if they could put a sign in my store window in 2004, in search for homes for their pups.
    Such a lovely family.
    My condolences.
    Cathy

  6. Farewell Allen.
I fondly remember and appreciate Councilor Allen’s support of Imlay Shire employees. Local Government could do with more honest Councilors like Allen.

  7. Sorry to hear this news. What a great life lived. Worked hard for his family and community. Was a great friend to Dad and Mum (Gordon and Gwen Moffitt). Thinking of the family at this time. Maxine l
