Tributes

  1. Ritchie was my friend for over 30 years I feel privileged to have had in in my life for so long , and that we had a chance to share our journey in life for as long as we did. He was a kind gentle soul and possibly the bravest strongest person I know. I never imagined that I would be writing a tribute to my friend and saying goodbye. Thanks for all the fun times we had together I’ll never forget you , you will always be in my heart. I’m going to miss you terribly.

  2. Ritchie was my high school date at the Grade 10 Leavers Dinner and a friend I’ve known for over 40 years. In my mind’s eye, I still see us on the dance floor, dancing to 80’s music, Ritchie’s cool outfit, his winklepicker shoes, flicking his gorgeous curly hair around and being so cool with his dance moves. I feel so grateful for having known him. He was pure kindness and fun. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a beautiful human being and I learnt the childhood bonds we share are the some of the strongest in life. You will always be with me Ritchie, always in my heart.

  3. Even though we had known each other for more than 40 years, it was only 8 years ago we actually connected and became close friends. I will treasure our short time together and the many laughs we had. I will miss our hours of chatting and laughing on the phone or catching up over some wine and cheese and a checky vape!!! You always had a special aura about you that attracted people to you! You will be missed dearly my friend.

  4. Special memories from our Saturday afternoon social squash, and our chats over the phone.
You will be missed by us all.
    Lesley and Warren, (Dare Family)
