Will be sadly missed RIP Peter
Rest in peace . Will be missed
So saddened to hear of Dr Floros passing 😢
Thank you for the memories and the wonderful years of working for you
May you rest in peace 🌹
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr Floro, Thinking of the family along with the staff at Warrawong Medical Centre…. He will be missed….. ♥️
I was in the Port Kembla Surf Club with Pater and Joe and was in the same school year as Frank.
I returned to Port with work after being away for many years and had reason to attend the Doctor. It was Peter. And he was very efficient.
My purpose is to highlight Peter’s sense of humour. I was in his surgery and in the way that Surf Club humour went, flippantly said, “are you a real doctor?”
Peter got up, opened his door, looked at the sign, “ Dr Peter Floro”, smiled and said, “Apparently”.

Over the past few years visiting family in the ‘Gong, I’ve caught up with Peter a number of times at Wollongong Leagues club for dinner and in his 👋 lounge room watching footy.
I was totally devastated when I heard the news.
There but for the Grace of GOD go you and I. Ever new day is a blessing 🙌. 🙏
My deepest 💔 sympathy to all his family.
Unfortunately I’ll be overseas next week.
Lucky to have caught up with Peter at a recent school reunion. Another one of our good school year gone. Rest in Peace mate.

Peter (Pedro) and I first met at university studying for our medical degree. After graduating we worked together at similar Sydney hospitals and after 3years both started in general practice albeit in different cities.
We passed through life’s milestones at similar times; marriage, home ownership, children and shared life’s ups and downs.
We kept in contact for over 50yrs.
He was a modest, quiet, unassuming man and I will miss his friendship greatly.
Another good one has passed but we are all the better for his being. Sorely missed.
