With great sadness, we announce the loss of Paula Ann Lester, aged 73, from Kiama who passed away peacefully after a short illness on Saturday, 22nd June 2024.

Dearly loved wife of Colin, mother of Rachel and Michelle, mother in law of Rohan, and cherished Nanny of Xavier, Phoenix and Jackson.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us for a memorial service at Ss Peter and Paul Parish, 92 Manning St, Kiama on Tuesday 9th July 2024 at 10am. Following the service a gathering will be held to celebrate her life at Kiama Bowling and Recreation Club at 11am.

  9. I am so sad to hear this news, Paula was a warm and friendly person. I enjoyed many chats with her at Probus meetings and Outings. I will certainly miss her quiet and gentle company. I am also sad that I will not be able to attend her funeral as we are interstate. Please pass on my condolences to Colin and her family.

  11. Vivien Rawding. Paula was such a beautiful lady both physically and inwardly. I was her teacher’s aide at St Therese and in a conversation one day discovered that we both attended Our Lady of Dolours School, Chatswood one year apart. I will miss our occasional lunches with other friends. May God hold you in his heart. Vale Dear friend.

  12. We were very sad to hear of Paula’s passing. We have fond memories of childhood visits to Sydney, where Paula was always such a kind, generous and caring aunt. Sending our condolences to Colin, Rachel and Michelle and their families.
