Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 29th September 2026. Beloved husband of Aileen Mary. Dearly loved father of Mark, Patrick and Matthew. Cherished Poppy of his grandchildren Emily, James, Olivia, Nash and Annabel. Paul will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

Paul, your immense kindness made all the difference when I first moved to Australia from Germany to marry into the Blackett/Martin family. You and Aileen opened your arms and your home to me. You welcomed me into the family. John and I always remembered the many thoughtful ways you supported us. And I still remember the wonderful surprise pre-wedding party you and Aileen hosted for us. It was the only time that garage of yours ever got a tidy! We laughed about this many times and again, when I spoke with you on the phone 3 weeks ago…
I am so glad I rang. You sounded so good and happy!
Thank you for your friendship of over 51 years. Thank you for everything.
