Tributes

  1. Mick was more like a brother to me than a friend…he was a kind man, a gentle soul, a generous guy.

We lived through many adventures together and overall, I probably spent more time with him than any of my girlfriends, playing soccer, going out, staying at mine, etc.

Life is short and unexpected events keep, and will keep popping up in the years to come, the older you get. Be prepared.

It’s always sad to be reminded of such events by losing such a dear friend, but those are the curve balls life throws at you and the older you get, the more you will notice these kind of events, so make sure until than, you take care of yourself and eachothers, don’t pass on opportunities to spend time with loved ones.

My dear Mick, I will certainly miss you, as I have already, in the last few years, where your illness kept us apart more than I would have liked to…

I’ll be thinking of you in my daily prayers, pls say ‘hi’ to my parents when you see them, your best friend, Baggio.

  2. My dear son’s namesake, Michael, a title you embraced with pride from the day you asked me to name my first child after you. Your kind heart and gentle soul will always be remembered. It breaks my heart that our time together was cut short, and I never had the chance to say a proper goodbye. Rest in peace, my dear until we meet again. You will always be missed and cherished in our hearts.
    With love, Somah.

  3. Forever in my heart Michael, you were a fantastic partner & father to our only child. But unfortunately, life was unfair to you.# My first love.Rest in perfect peace till we meet again.✝️💔💐😭.

  4. Michael you left us way to early sadly missed by family and friends. RIP Michael 🙏 🕊 🕊 🕊 🕊 🕊

  5. M ick, you have left too soon💔 I read through all the messages we ever exchanged. You were always first to reach out to say hello…always showing your caring nature. There was joy, hope, happiness and broken dreams 💔 but underneath it there was always love, especially for your pride and joy William. I am sorry I wasn’t there for you in the last years but I will always cherish our friendship. I am praying for your loved ones 🙏🏾 throughout this time. Till we meet again my friend. Forever in my heart. Rehema.🙏🏾

  6. My sincere condolences to Michael’s parents, brother and son.

Sad to hear of Mick’s passing. I first met Michael when we was playing for Coniston juniors and we became good friends over our shared love of football and a beer.

In a similar vain to Tancredi I had main an adventure as making our way as young adults in the world and have fond memories of Mick coming to stay with me in London and taking him to see his beloved Spurs.

RIP my friend you will be missed but we can take some comfort in the memories you have left us with.

  7. My mum Vicki loved spending time hanging out with her mate, Michael.
Hope you’re both partying hard up there.
Thank you for being mums friend
