Martin Leif Brennan

I met Marty when he first came to Taree and we were soon friends and ended up being more like like best of friends and more like a big brother. Marty was upbeat and happy, he always had a tune in his head that he would repeat all day.
You asked how he was and he would say always ‘Happy Days”, with his cheeky grin.
We spend time having coffee, watching movies, going for walks where he might meditate or just relax. He was happy in his home with his dog Sabre. He never wanted or needed alot, he liked things to be simple, making life easy. He helped alot of people that needed help in the community, he loved cooking, walking, riding, surfing, the beach and animals. My lil staffy Roxy (who loved Martin more than she loved me) passed a week before, she loved marty so I’m glad they have each other and Marty’s parrot morticia are all together.
We told each other we loved each other as friends like family every other day and he always made me laugh.
He loved his daughter Aleria dearly, and talked about her.and family all the time. He was very proud of Aleria and becoming a grandfather was one of the best days of his life.
I’ll miss Marty terribly everyday, he was taken far to quickly with so much life left to live.
I’ll never forget him. I no he will be watching over me, and taking care of Roxy.
