Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a celebration of Marlou’s life to be held at the
Wreck Bay Elders Memorial Garden, Summercloud Bay Road, Wreck Bay Village
on Thursday, 4th June 2026 with service commencing 11:00am.
Following the service, the funeral will proceed to Wreck Bay Cemetery.

I’m truly devastated by the news of your passing. It has had a profound effect on me.
You were a remarkable recruit and an even better human, whom I was fortunate enough to mentor during your early military career.
It’s difficult to put into words the impact you had on me and everyone fortunate enough to know you. Your attitude towards life was second to none. I never once heard you complain. You were always on time, always prepared, and always gave 100% to every challenge placed in front of you. Your dedication, character, and positive outlook made you someone truly special and a credit to your family.
To your partner, your little one, your family, and his friends, I extend my deepest condolences. It was an absolute honour and privilege to have been a part of Marlou’s life.
Rest easy, mate. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. ❤️
