Passed away on Friday 28th March 2025. Beloved wife of the late David. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jeana and Lincoln, Nicole (dec) and Mark, Peter and Mel. Adored Ma of Grace and Kit, Reuben and Riley, Harrison, Chelsea, Bella and Jacob, Alysha and Josh, Lola, Charlotte, Kye (dec), Cruze, Cash and great grandmother of Elsie Jane. Maria will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Maria’s funeral service to be held at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 92 Manning Street Kiama on Thursday 10th April 2025 at 11 am.

Many happy memories of good times.
Maria loved her family and was so strong with the tragedies in recent years.
Will be so missed. Always remembered with love.
Maria was a very special friend as was David. We had great times together. Maria loved all her family. Tom and I will miss her very much.
Maria was a true friend from when we met. So many treasured memories. I admired her strength to carry the crosses she had to carry in the last five years. I will miss her very much.

Maria and I played tennis for Kiamawhen we had young children. Helping everyone with the children was what we did. Also, not to mention having tennis coaching. Maria always made it look easy to play, always looked immaculate walking off a hard match
Our years in Kiama View Club were always fun too. RIP
I played tennis with Maria on the old clay courts in Hindmarsh Park many years ago. We all had such fun and i always liked playing with Maria as she was tall and I’m short and she could always get the volleys close to the net.

I worked for David for 18 years and I will always have very fond memories of the yates family.
Maria. One of the strongest, elegant and beautiful women I know. Maria has been a great friend for many years. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grand mother and great grandmother. Maria will be sadly missed by many. I am very proud to call her my friend.
