Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Friday 30th May 2025. Beloved wife of João (dec). Dearly loved mother of Nelson. Much loved Avó of Jeremy. Loved sister of Maria Aldina Gomes. Maria will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here and in Portugal.

Rosary will be recited at Rankins Funeral Home, 270 Cowper Street Warrawong, on Thursday 12th June 2025 at 5pm.
Requiem Mass for the repose of Maria’s soul will be celebrated at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1 Bruce Road Warrawong on Friday 13th June 2025 at 11am. Following the Mass her funeral will proceed to Lakeside Memorial Park, Kanahooka Road Kanahooka.
