  2. Our much loved Uncle John’s life was a life lived to its fullest. A happy marriage, a wonderful family, and a loving home were just some of the great things he accomplished. With so many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, his legacy will certainly live on.

Denise, Garry, Brioni, Patrick and Kelsie Moore XXXXX

  3. Poppy John, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and father in- law. Loved and missed by all. May you now rest in peace. Love Bruce Gaby Lily and Luke.

  4. Dearest Poppy John,
We hope you are up in the clouds, floating down the airstreams and soaring into the stratosphere where you belong. We hope you are looking down on us, keeping us safe. We will look after Nan, don’t you worry about that.
    Miss you so much Pop.
    Proud you were ours.
Love Al, Ian, Gracie, Tom and Finn x

  5. Dear Poppy John,
Your humor, kindness, and resilience will forever remain in our hearts. You have left an indelible mark on my life, and I miss you every single day. We will always ensure that Nanna is safe and cared for. You were truly the best grandfather a girl could ever wish for. Heaven has gained another angel.

    With all my love, always.
    Luci

  6. Dear Lesley, Stephen, Gaynor, Gaby, Peta and respective families,
Deepest sympathies on the passing of Jock. He was a fine officer and thorough gentleman who set a fine example to his fellow officers. We enjoyed many a beer together on. Friday afternoon in the Wardroom. “ I better give Lesley a call to come and pick me up if I have any more of these. I better give her a call anyway just in case!”
Jock was a dear friend to whom a owe a considerable debt of gratitude for seeing me through my early training days in the Tower at RANAS NOWRA.
I am sorry Jock is no longer with you. No doubt this is a sad time for you all. Thinking of you at this time of loss and bereavement.

  7. RIP Mr Currie.
Thinking of you all in this difficult time. Sending all my love.
    Love Patty and family 🙏

  8. To Lesley, Steve Gabby, Gaynor and your beautiful family we are sending so much love to you all and are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
All our love Adrian, Felicity, Riley and Mia Jewaskiewitz ❤️

  9. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the immediate and extended family of John ‘Jock’ Currie. I think this is a good time to reflect on the words of the Naval Ode.
‘They have no grave but the cruel sea.
No flowers lay at their head.
A rusting hulk is their tombstone.
    Afast on the ocean bed.’
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of great sorry and painful feeling of loss. RIP John ‘Jock’ Currie🙏

  10. Dearest Pop,

I am truly sorry I couldn’t be there today to say goodbye due to looking after your newest grandchild Maeve being 11 weeks old. She looks just like the Currie girls and already has your cheeky sense of humour. I know when she is a teenager and searching for the red wine for a party we won’t allow her to have that she has your spirit living inside her. You’re in a better place now where you can drink as much as you want and be a cheeky bugger FOREVER. I will make sure Nan comes to Queensland for some sun and we will toast a drink for you. I’m truly blessed for all the love you gave me.

Love Emily, Sophie, Theia and Maeve xx

  11. To dear Lesley and the big, beautiful Currie family. On behalf of the Roddam Family, please accept our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers for the passing of John.

He was an amazing man. Full of life, always jovial with his witty humour and most importantly for our family – a wonderful friend and huge support to Peter and Glenda for many, many years.

    Thank you John and Lesley.

    With much love and gratitude,

    Melissa, Steven and Cheree
