Tributes

  1. I’m shattered to learn of your passing Jo. You were a brilliant light in the dimness of the everyday. Ever so kind, ever so the friend. Your shine will be missed by all. Thank you for all your friendship throughout the years. Fly high lovely.

  2. So very sad for the heartbreak of Jo’s lovely family.
Jo’s memorable first impression was made when I was in primary school at St Patrick’s. A high-school student seven years older than me, marched towards me on the playground with her friends around her and announced ‘I know you, you’re Tank’s little sister’. Fortunately, Jo was part of Paul’s group of friends and this was her endearing herself to Paul’s family members. Jo’s manner never changed in all the years I knew her.
So many wonderful moments chatting with Jo’s dear mother, Verna, when she visited my Bega and Pambula stores. Always grateful for lovely people.
I will forever remember Jo for who she was to my child and I from 2013.

  3. Dear Jo, my darling friend, how can you be gone? I don’t think you are, really. Not to those of us who love you. Your laughter will ring out forever. Our memories of your generosity, love, non-judgemental friendship, joy of life and you welcoming us lucky ones into your home and heart will be everlasting. We’ll meet again one day. Love you Jo Jo ❤️🩵💜

  4. I ignored your advice(you were the first person to see it) and paid a very high price for it but you saved me in the end. “yes, you told me so”. “You were right and I was wrong”.
“I’m taking your advice now, you may have saved my life, thank you so much Jo”.

  5. Jo’s untimely passing reminds us to live large and don’t delay. I will miss Jo on my visits to Bega. She always had good advice for me and was always up for some fun. Extending my sincerest sympathies to everyone close to Jo, family, and friends.

  6. Darling Jo,
