Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Darrin, Desley, Sharna, William, Alyssa, Annie, Heath, Ashley, and Evangeline, and dear friend to Leonie, Louise, Nicole, and Sarah.
Joan opened her arms wide to all who met her, embracing anyone who needed care. A keen conversationalist, she would happily engage in any topic. An anglophile at heart, Joan loved British culture – television, books and songs. She dearly loved animals and always had a dog by her side. She was a wise, creative spirit prone to pranks and acts of great generosity. She now joins her husband Wilf in rest and will be much missed by those who knew and loved her.
Leaf goes down to leaf, her green now purest gold, and in her passing beauty, this leaf with love enfolds.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held in the Clavering Park Crematorium Chapel, Wolumla at 10.00a.m., Friday 31st May, 2024.
Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend.
