Passed away peacefully on Thursday 13th August 2026. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of David, Steven and Alison, Graeme and Alison, Ian and Sandy. Cherished Grandma of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jill will be sadly missed by her loving family and dear friends.

Jill was mum Lola Smith’s best buddy. They hadn’t seen each other in a while but kept in constant contact after mum moved to Melbourne. I remember Mrs Relf when mum and Jill worked at Koonawarra Primary School – many good days spent by me helping them with the gestetner – an early brand of stencil duplicator (or mimeograph) invented by David Gestetner in the late 19th century!! LOL. A wonderful life lived Jill with grand times to remember. Go well sweet lady.
Jill lit up Lakelands Public School with her infectious smile. She will certainly never be forgotten by students, staff or parents.
