  7. Dear Aunty Jan,

It’s hard to find the right words for someone who showed so much courage and determination.

I have such fond memories of being a kid at Nan’s when you would call from Australia. I truly loved those times afterward when Nan would tell me everything about your life over there. Looking back, I only wish I hadn’t been so shy, I wish I would have spoken up more and asked you all the questions I had in my head.

I have always thought you must have been so brave and adventurous to move to the other side of the world.

I still remember the excitement of receiving birthday cards from you that had traveled all that way, always with those Australian stamps on them.

I’ve often thought about the incredible sense of adventure you must have had to leave Liverpool and build a life so far away.

You taught us all what it means to be truly brave, dignified, and courageous. We will carry your memory and your adventurous spirit with us always.

    Rest in peace, Jan.

All our love to Tony, Brendan, Stacey, and the family.

    Love,
    David

  10. Dear Aunty Janet
I am so glad I got the opportunity to come over to Australia last year to see you, Uncle Tony, Brendan and Lauren, Stacey, Jay and Remi and all the extended family and friends. Although there were days when you were poorly you still managed to laugh and we crammed as much as we could in the short time me and Aunty Rose were there xxx thankyou for my 50th birthday present at Shoalhaven Zoo I’ll treasure that forever and what made it more special is that you were well enough to come along too🐨 Also the day at Kembla Races 🐴🍾🥂 again you were on form another treasured memory.
Even when we went to the hospital appointments you still remained positive.
In one of our last conversations when you were in hospital last month we spoke about me coming back over later in this year and its really sad that you won’t be there when I report in for Steak duties
💔💔 we’ll make sure you are with us in spirit though🫶😊
You fought till the end but now its time to rest 💔
    Lots of love Jacqui ❤️
