Tributes

  1. May happy memories carry you through this sad time.
Wishing the family strength and love. May Aunty Irene rest in peace. Together again. With love Bill, John, Darryl Samantha and Sharron Rea

  2. Irene to me later in my life but always Mrs Saunders for almost 62 years, my best friends mum and my late mum’s friend. Such a strong caring lady that never made a fuss even when I was constantly in her home growing up, just accepted me and got on with life. Truly loved her family in every way she will be forever fondly remembered and very sadly missed from Robyn and family

  3. Heartfelt condolences to all the family for your loss. May you find comfort that Irene is resting at peace in the lord’s hands

  4. My dearest Aunty Irene the last of the Elliott Family, it breaks my heart to think that all my wonderful family are no longer.I have great memories of you from my childhood and beyond..Be at peace and know what a beautiful caring person you were.. To Steven.Leonie and family my deepest and heartfelt sympathy, she was much loved

  5. Beautiful service Leonie❤️🙏. Sorry I couldn’t be there!! Xxx

  6. We could not have wished for a better Aunty. Always there, never wavering, always constant in her beliefs yet never forcing them on to others. Life without her will never be the same and never be as good as it was when she was her here with us. Though we lived many hundreds of miles apart, she was always as close as the telephone and we enjoyed those conversations so much because for a while, such a brief moment, we were young again as we remembered times at Forbes and Cringila. Stories long forgotten but much loved memories to recall and enjoy once again. Thank you Aunty, for all the memories. They are the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ and while we live, you will always live in our hearts with us.
