Passed away peacefully on Sunday 31st May 2026. Beloved husband of Elly. Dearly loved father of Marlene, Christine, and Layla. Cherished grandfather of Dylan. A loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Giacinto will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and overseas.

A life well lived
Requiem Mass for the repose of Giacinto’s soul will be celebrated in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral, Harbour Street Wollongong on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 12:30pm. Following the Mass his funeral will proceed to Lakeside Memorial Park, Kanahooka Road, Kanahooka.

We loved when you came to visit us here in Griffith. We all thought that you were so brave to drive all the way by yourself. You always had a smile, a laugh and your beautiful sense of humour reminded us of our Nonno in Italy. You were such a gentle, loving soul. Mum always looked forward to your visits.
The world has lost a gentleman.
