Tributes

  1. Dearest Gerry, you will be missed but forever in our hearts. Gerry was married to one of my older sisters, Dawn. When I was 15 my father prematurely passed away, Gerry immediately stepped in to support me as a father image. Gerry and Dawn would sometimes take me on their holidays and no matter where we were, or how remote, if it was Sunday, Gerry would make every effort to seek out the local church. There was never any excuse to miss church on a Sunday. Gerry helped me write my first job application, he helped me buy my first property, he spoke at my wedding in place of my father, the list and the stories, for me, are endless. I’m sure Gerry has made a difference to and helped many others. What an outstanding person and I’m very thankful he was part of my life. Gerry can certainly rest in peace. God Bless.

  2. To dear Dawn, I am so very sorry to hear of Gerry’s death. Please accept our condolences and sympathy. Thinking of you and all your family at this sad time. Remembering the gfood times long ago. Gerry was a good man, he will be missed. So sorry. Sending love and best wishes to you all, Frances and Horst Lemmes
