George was my friend and mentor he had a fantastic attitudes to life we met at dog obedience trading and quickly become good mates my condolences to all Georges family and God Bless
Dear George, you were a true gentleman, a great colleague and a very dear friend. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace now, George.
George was a mentor to me. Encouraging me to pursue my Obedience Judges Licence and training my dogs in the cow paddock in Dapto. We spent good times sitting together on the tailgate of my car in the paddock as George instructed me on how to do better. Every time I enter the obedience ring I will be thinking of you George and always trying to do better. Farewell my friend xx
I first met George in 1971 through dog obedience training when he & Janice were both starting out .We shared many great experiences over the following years. Your friendship & knowledge will be forever missed.

I met George when I had my first OES at an Illawarra Trial. He was very flattering about my dogs ability which encouraged me to continue for over 50 years since then. I have always enjoyed our Judging assignments together where he was always the gentleman. My sincere sympathy to his daughters and family. A man that will be sorely missed by so many.
A real gentleman who gave so much of himself to the Maltese community of the Illawarra.
I met George at a conference a few years ago and our conversations, over several hours spanned many subjects, including that of our beloved Malta. He was a witty, intelligent and interesting man, with a passion to keep the Maltese culture alive in Australia.
Farewell my dear friend, I will miss you. So many years of a special friendship that I will cherish for the rest of my life. R.I.P. dear George till we all meet again. Love and best wishes always to all of your Family and Friends. Back in the loving arms of Doris, forever in God’s care. xx.

George was a wonderful dog training instructor at Illawarra Dog Training Club. I first attended there in about 2000 and attended on and off with various dogs over the years. He was so much loved and respected by both dogs and their humans. I am terribly sad. Louise
I’ve known George for over 30 years. As a toddler, I could never say George. I always said Gorgeous. Something George never let me forget. It was never wrong though. It described George perfectly. A wonderful man, a kind and generous soul.
George, thank you for your support and mentorship during my many years of Judges Training. A true Gentleman.
I went to university with Janet, George’s daughter, and through her I first met George a very long time ago. My wife and daughters also know him as we have visited and met with him and Karen lots of times with Janet in recent years. We were always impressed by the caring way in which he kept his pets. We were entertained and charmed by his wonderful stories or his and his family’s personal history, and the development of their area in the Illawarra. The friends that Janet and I went to university with used to listen and laugh with great fondness at his tales about his daughters. George was clearly a fantastic father, and I know that his family will miss him greatly. He will also be missed by many others, especially because of his extensive work in and with the local community and the Maltese community. He was appropriately recognised formally with awards for those things, but beyond his achievements we all knew George as a thoroughly authentic and decent man who brought up a lovely family.
our deepest condolences to the family on such a sad loss may he Rest in Peace
