Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 9th July 2024. Beloved husband of Ailsa. Loved father and father in law of Gavin & Rachael. Proud Gug of Joshua and Cameron. Garry will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and interstate.

Aged 87 Years
A true larrikin who lived life to the fullest

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Garry’s funeral service to be held at H Parsons Funeral Home, 125 Manning Street Kiama on Wednesday, 17th July 2024 at 2:30 pm. Following the service, Garry’s family invite everyone to join them at Cedar Cutters, within the Kiama Leagues Club from 3.30pm until 5.45pm.

We have only lived in Minnamurra for 7 yrs but from the day we moved in you made us feel so welcome ,you set out the rules immediately and that was when we saw anyone sitting on your front fence with a drink in hand we were to get ourselves over there and join in straight away. Well here’s cheers to you and we will continue to do this . Xxx

  5. Much love to all the family at this very sad time. Many happy memories of times with Gary and Ailsa at the Coates farm. I can see him enjoying a brew with his mate Keith and if he catches up with my mum and dad, Trevor and Doreen, asking him if he has his guitar so they can have a sing song. A wonderful man who will continue to live in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. xxx
