Passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving daughter Janice on Tuesday, 11th August 2026. Beloved wife of the late Raimie (David). Adored mother and mother-in-law of Leonie & Terry, Rosemary & John, Janice & Lindsay, and Ken. Cherished Grandmother of her grandchildren Simone, Sharon, Danielle, Michael, Jeffrey, Mark, Brooke and their partners Paul, Orna, Tracy, and Rodney and of her great grandchildren Mia, Harry, Cooper, Ivy, and Eli. Effie will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

A beautiful service for a lovely lady. I know she will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Thank you for streaming the service which meant David and I were able to watch even though we couldn’t attend in person.
