Tributes

  1. My condolences to the Dunbar family in this sad time,
Jim was a great bloke, I can remember he used to keep his rig in dad’s yard next to the timber yard, always smiling.
    RIP Jim
    Regards Tony Dwyer

  2. Condolences to the Dunbar family. I worked with Jim for a number of years, sometimes I was his boss sometimes he was mine. We moved jobs together a few times, Readymix, Cement Australia and back to Cleary Bros. He took me under his wing when I was a 55 year old apprentice tanker driver. Was always a good mate. RIP Jim.

  3. I have lost a great mate. I’ve known Jim and his family for too many years to count. We became very close over the past thirty years. I will miss our bi-weekly breakfast appointments at Short Black, the comraderie at Kiama Leaguies and of course the stir at State of Origin time. Even though his early career was in baking he was a very good and passionate truck driver covering many skills. I feel your hurt Carol and the families, it is hard saying goodbye. Stay strong.
    Regards Bruce Dun
