Passed away peacefully on Thursday 30th July 2026. Beloved husband of the late Wendy. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Adam and Nicola, Paul and Skye, Kristel and Paul, David and Courtney, Stephanie and Mitchell, and Samuel. Cherished Poppy of Harper, Minerva, Hamish, Allegra, Sophie, Lachlan, Evelyn, Joshua, Charlotte, Peyton, Addison, Angus, Thomas, Emily, Sebastian, Franklin, Penelope and Magnolia. CB will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

Dear Barlow Family,
it is always a great loss when a parent passes away. It is comforting to know that Wendy and Sigmund are together again.
During a visit to Metelen in the 1970s, Sigmund had said to our father, “Uncle Gerhard, someday I’d like to have just as many children and a big family.” It’s wonderful that he was able to fulfill that dream together with Wendy. Just as in our family, Wendy and Sigmund will continue to be with you, living on in your memories.
