Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Sunday 21st June 2026. Dearly loved mother of Frank, Tony and David. Much loved Nanna of Bernadette, Amy, Emily, Steven, Shanai, Taisha and great grandchild Occy. Loved sister of Franc (dec). Loving daughter of Rudolf and Marija. Angela will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here and in Slovenia

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Requiem Mass for the repose of Angela’s soul to be celebrated at St Brigid’s Catholic Church, Gipps Road, Gwynneville on Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 11.30am. Following the Mass her funeral will proceed to Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery, Kanahooka Road, Kanahooka. A gathering will take place following the service.

Slovo je vedno boleče, čeprav ostaja upanje na snidenje v Večnosti, Nebesih. Zelo Vas bomo pogrešali… Naših telefonskih pogovorov, pisem in Vaših obiskov pri nas doma , v Sloveniji, ki so bili vedno nadvse dragoceni. Z Vami odhaja en ‘svet’, življenje, ki mi je bilo zelo drago, ljubljeno, spoštovano, in cenjeno…V hvaležnosti Bogu za vsa Vaša lepa, ljubezniva dejanja. Ostajate kot vse, katero ne more izbrisati niti smrt, globoko shranjeni v mojem, naših srcih… Z Vami bom še vedno povezana v molitvi, kot ves čas Vaše bolezni , in sedaj, ko nisva več mogli govoriti.
Naj najde Vaša duša Milost pri Bogu,in se spočije v Njegovi Usmiljeni Ljubezni.
Draga, cenjena družina, žalujoča družina pokojne Angela Sirc: sin Frank z hčerkami, sin Toni in sin David z družino.
Radi se spomnite pok. mame in stare mame v molitvi in jo ohranite v dragem spominu. V trenutkih žalosti in bolečine sočustvujemo z Vami, in molimo za vse Vas.

Dear Angela,
Growing up, I always knew you as my beautiful Grandma’s best friend. I heard so many stories about your friendship and her trips from Adelaide to Wollongong to spend time with you. You brought her so much happiness, and I will always be grateful that she had someone like you in her life.
A few years ago, while driving interstate, I rang to say I was passing through. Without a second thought, you opened your home to me, fed me, and made sure I was looked after. It was such a generous thing to do, especially for someone you hadn’t seen for such a long time, and I’ve never forgotten it.
After Grandma passed away, and then after we lost my uncle, we found our way back into each other’s lives. The first time I visited you, I was so struck by how much you reminded me of Grandma that I honestly thought my heart would burst. Being with you felt like being close to her again.
I really treasured our phone calls over the last few years. You always sounded so genuinely happy to hear from me, and I always hung up smiling.
When I met your family, it was easy to see how much you were loved.
Thank you for the kindness you always showed our family over the years.
I feel very lucky to have known you.
I hope you and Grandma are together again, catching up on everything you’ve missed and sharing a laugh.

Dear Angela,
I will always remember how kind you were to me when I was on chemo and you would bring fresh vegetables to my home for me to make juice. I am sure it helped my recovery and also the beautiful scarf you brought back from Slovenia for me. We loved your fabulous cooking too.
