Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday 31st October 2026. Beloved husband of Karen. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Erin and Damon, Michelle and Damien, Mark and Gemma. Cherished Papou of Lexie, Jesse, Spencer, Ash and Lucy. Andrew will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

Prayers will be held in the Chapel, H Parsons Funeral Home, 34 Belmore Street, Wollongong on Wednesday 4th November 2026 at 5pm.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Andrew’s funeral service to be held at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 18 Stewart Street Wollongong on Thursday 5th November 2026 at 9:30 am. Following the service his funeral will proceed to Wollongong Lawn Cemetery Wyllie Road, Kembla Grange.

I heard of the news only today and unfortunately cannot attend tomorrow to share all the beautiful stories about Andrew. I was Andrews mate through school and left the area. I regret not maintaining this friendship for one thing is certain Andrew was a quality person. Loyal, honest and full of love. His family were hard working folk that developed an entrepreneurial attitude coupled with a serious work ethic. Andrew ( Chicka) you have never left my thoughts. Love to your family.

Andrew was such a wonderful family friend and someone we will always remember with great fondness.
He shared a very special friendship with our dad over many years, and we have so many happy memories of the wonderful times our families spent together growing up.
Andrew was always such a fun-loving, caring and humorous man, full of life and laughter. Although many years have passed, those memories have always stayed with us.
We like to think that Andrew and Dad are reunited in heaven, sharing a drink, a laugh and reminiscing about the good old days, just as they used to.
We are so sorry we can’t be there on Thursday to celebrate Andrew’s life, but please know that our thoughts and love are with his family.
Rest peacefully, Andrew. You will always be remembered with love and a smile. ❤️
