Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Monday 27th April 2026. Beloved husband of Marie. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Linda and Brad, Jennifer and Russell. Cherished Grandad of Erin and Nathan, and great grandfather of Lewis. John will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

Very sorry Marie to hear of John’s passing.
Having worked with John at Avon Colliery
and associated with him at Yellow Rock Colliery and beyond.
John was always a great mentor to me and a great mate.
I extend my condolences to you and all your family.
He was a real character and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
