Dear Pip
So very sorry to hear about Michael. Glad he was able to come and see Theatre Twyford last June, to see his architectural vision made real. The Theatre will be a magnificent asset for the Merimbula community for many years to come and a tribute to Michael’s work.
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family.
Warm regards,
Lis Shelley

As a member of the Twyford Hall Committee, I first met Michael when he took on the daunting task of fitting a theatre onto a postage stamp sized block of land that already had preliminary structures. I respected his both his professional capabilities and his determination to see the project through.
On a more personal note, when we met at events, Michael was friendly and easy to talk to and I enjoyed our conversations.
This is sad news indeed and I send condolences to all of Michael’s family.
