Passed away peacefully at home on 14th February 2024, surrounded by his family. Adored husband of Carol, father of David, Kate and Ben, father-in-law of Michele and Natasha, grandfather of Tasmyn, Harper, Alicia, Flynn, Angus, Cortez, Hugh and Sunny.

A beautiful man
who laughed his way through life.

Family and friends are invited to attend Bill’s funeral service at H.Parsons Funeral Home, Bulli, on Monday 26th February 2024 at midday.

  1. I have known Bill Martin over 50;years and I would like to say Bill epitomised the word Gentleman. He was a wonderful, caring husband, father, grandfather and friend to many people. He loved his cricket, Rugby league and golf and shared those interests with many of his friends.
    I wish him peace on his final journey.
    You will be greatly missed.

  7. I was fortunate enough to have Mr Martin as the Principal of Padstow Park Primary School (circa 1990 – 1996). An honest, caring and kind natured gentlemen who really was community focused and supportive of his students. Sending love and condolences on behalf of the Dowd family.   9. I can’t express the words of admiration I have for Bill. He helped mould me into the teacher I am today. He taught me integrity, respect and kindness. Best principal/boss I have ever had. He was a loving husband and supportive father. I admired that so much in him. Whilst writing this I look back and remember so many fond memories. The laughter and smiles he generated at Padstow Park have never been matched. Carol and family my heart aches at your loss. Bill will always be remered as a remarkable legend. Forever in our hearts.
