Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 3rd of February 2022. Beloved husband of Nettie. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Wiebe and Shanti, Centine and Dean. Loved Opa of Hugo, and Max. Pieter will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and in Holland.

Dear Nettie and family,
From the bike riding collective in Piet’s last few years, his warm yet quiet conversation and perspective were always valued. Just not enough rides.
The reflections in his final celebration revealed a man of many talents and experiences that many of us didn’t know about to our loss.
However, we appreciated the time we had riding with him around Wollongong and the longer trip in Victoria in 2018.

We have fond memories of when our children were younger & we shared times through Nareena Hills School & Paul & Wiebe in scouts.
We enjoyed watching the Renovation Show – you & Pieter inspired us with what you both achieved when Pieter was so ill. Unfortunately Pieter isn’t able to enjoy your beautiful home, children & grandchildren & his retirement days with you.
