Passed away peacefully on Friday, 14th July 2023. Wife of the late Vojo. Dearly loved mother of Robert, John, Vele and their families. Vasa will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here and in Macedonia.

Prayers will be held in the Chapel, H.Parsons Funeral Home, 34 Belmore Street Wollongong on Wednesday, 26th July 2023 at 4pm.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Vasa’s funeral service to be held at St Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church, 10 Stewart Street Wollongong on Thursday, 27th July 2023 at 10:15am. Following the service her funeral will proceed to Sandridge Cemetery, Ocean Street Mollymook.

An icon of the Monaro and will be sadly missed.
It was lovely getting to know Vasa during her time in the Snowy Mountains. We had some interesting conversations over her homemade Grappa and Turkish coffees. Vasa smiled most when her house was full of friends eating the food she cooked for them. She spoke fondly of her years growing up in Macedonia. We loved her stories of old times. There is much to learn from just sitting and listening to our Elders, and Vasa had lots to teach us. Our love and prayers go out to Vele and Vasa’s family.
