Passed away peacefully on Friday. 16th February 2024. Loving husband of Margaret (dec). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Derek and Nicola. Proud Grandad of Callum and Will. Tom will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and in the UK.

94 – WHAT AN INNINGS!!! I used to see Tom when I’d call in to see Derek when he’d returned from playing bass on the cruises. We’d have a little chat now and again and he was always welcoming and comfortable to talk to. Tom worked at the CoOp factory in Pelaw, where my sister Pat worked. Not long after the factory closed, 1990 I think, I was just starting a computing degree and Tom had a little computer desk he offered me that came from the factory; 34 years later myself and my daughter are still using it! It’s always been referred to as ‘Tom’s desk’ and each time I sit at it I remember those happy Low Fell days. So a small part of Tom lives on with me and my family. RIP Tom, really nice to have known you – and thank you so much for having a lovely family I could enrich my life with too. You live on sir!
