Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Monday, 30 November 2020. Beloved Husband of Judy. Adored father and father-in-law of Jenny and John and Wayne, Mark and Lorraine, Cath and Ryan, Amanda and Ian. Cherished Grandpa of Emily, Kyle, Harry, Liv, Keegan, Ainslie, Isabelle, Ashleigh, Cooper, and Amber. Mike will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

I started at Cardiff School in 1948 with Michael. I only have fond memories of him. He was so much fun and loved to torment me as in 6th Class I sat in front of him.

We moved to Valentine and I caught up with his mother, Kit in the 1970’s.
I really feel for you as he was such a warm and caring type of person.

My Dad…..The man who taught me to live, love and experience life; the people, the places and moments.
Ever the talented sportsman, the comedian, the adventurer, the lover of music and rhythm, the socialite, the lover of animals and wilderness, the entertainer, the connoisseur, the romantic, the poet, the creative talent, the handyman, the humble provider, the protector, the coach, the mate, the fun…….. Loving Life in action!
I will be eternally grateful for you, the countless life lessons, experiences and opportunities that you never ceased to provide us with. Your biggest pride and joy in life was epitomised by the endless investments made (teaching, time, effort, love, care, guidance, witness ) in us; your family.
You are (and will always be) “My Sunshine”, and in your honour, I vow to never let anyone “Take That Sunshine Away”
