Tributes

  1. Steve was a great neighbour & will be sorely missed by all here in Church Street..
    RIP buddy
    Warmest regards
    Terry & Margaret Cook

  2. There aren’t enough words to describe Steve and the amount of compassion, selflessness and love he generously offered to everyone whom met him. He inspired a lot of the younger family and remains as a cheeky and humble father figure which I hold close in my memories and heart.
Rest peacefully with aunty Liz and her karaoke serenades

  3. Steve you were a beautiful and gentle soul. Rest in sweet repose.

  4. What a great loss
    Was my mentor
    My mate
    My saviour
    Gone too soon
    At peace now
    Rest easy Barney

    Fly High 💕

  5. Steve, for a dirty, filthy NSW supporter, you were one hell of a bloke!!!
Loved working alongside you at Creswell and especially loved getting out on the footy field with you as well.
You may be gone but you are most definitely not forgotten.
Rest easy my friend. Your fight is over…

  6. Over 20 years of friendship . You always had my back . You used to say “ it is better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission” not sure if this got us out of or into more trouble .since retiring we had a thing about Xmas cakes . How many we were making and who for . So Steve mate I will make a cake in your honour and have a cuppa for you when it is eaten .

  7. We will miss you so much. Your wicked sense of humour always made us laugh. You always put other people before yourself and always lent a helping hand without question. You always welcomed us in your home and the treasured memories from all those years of friendship will never be forgotten .
    Rest in peace.

  8. Rest in peace Steve with your beautiful Liz❤️
