Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday 18th of June 2022. Son of Elizabeth. Beloved husband of Sarah. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Tom and Kate, Ed and Paola, Charlie, and Lily. Loved brother of Nicola Richardson. Ian will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

I worked with Ian over a number of years and enjoyed his way of working, a relaxed manner and most of all his laugh. It would always bring things back to their basics and into focus.
Ian just loved working on challenging projects and never gave up – I have learnt a lot about working life from Ian
