Roger (Ruari) Carolin

Born 15th October 1929 passed away peacefully 3rd February 2025 at Jaspers Brush.

Loved by wife Janice and children Iain, Lydia and Micheal & Elaine; stepson Lachlan & Justine.
Loving Ruari-Da to grandchildren Cassandra & David, Jaryd & Maryam and Verity;
step-grandchildren Hugh and Cameron and great-grandchildren Austin and Georgia.

Roger taught botany at Sydney University for over thirty years and greatly influenced the direction
of systematic botany in Australia, both personally and through his many postgraduate students.
On retirement he bred Red Poll cows and big breasted chooks at Jaspers Brush.

Now Roger (Ruari) is happy to be part of the universe’s consciousness
but his family and many friends will miss him always.

A private cremation will be held.
