Tributes

  1. So sad to hear that Roger has passed away. I fondly remember his generosity, his passion for his students & quaint & old-fasioned charm. He lead a full life & will be sadly missed. Milton & Maureen Cox.

  2. It was January 1982 when I first met Roger at his home. I was to begin teaching Science at Kiama and had called in to introduce myself to the boss. After we had moved the cow’s drinking trough (an old bath), looked at his fruit trees and done a few other chores it was time to go. Over the years we (my family) visited ‘ farmer’ Graham’ on many occasions to sample his mulberries. Roger was a Scientist. He made his tools of trade. He held you entranced when you listened to his stories of the stars. Roger wrote Programs to demonstrate nuclear decay. Thanks for showing me how Roger,

  3. Dear Mrs Graham,
My friend Murray Smith just informed me of Mr Graham’s passing.
I have never known an educator as inspirational as Roger, whose love of science (and particularly physics) motivated me and other students to expand Frontiers in our respective fields.
I acknowledged his influence in a number of my books, and modelled my teaching in academia on the romance with science he nurtured.
I went to school with Sue who remains in my heart as the best of friends, and my thoughts are with you and your family.
    Love and best wishes
    Dr Brett Lemass
