  1. Have lovely memories of a kind, lovely man. Loved by many. Sorry I won’t make funeral but will be there in spirit.

  2. We will always remember Bob with very fond memories, such a friendly, welcoming man.
Now at peace. Sorry we can’t be there on Thursday but you will all be in our thoughts & prayers.

  3. My memories of Bob go a long way back to remember a fine, interesting, thoughtful man, and with Pat, a wonderful member of the Derrig,,Timmins and Ascoli families.
Regrettably I have an immovable medical appointment on Thursday-thoughts with Pat and family at this difficult time.

  4. Very sorry for your loss. RIP Bob . Sending my love

  5. I first met Bob in the early 1980’s when he joined the NSW SES as the head of Admin Section. He was a breath of fresh air & he very quickly won the respect of Permanent staff & Volunteers alike. His enthusiasm, & cheerful nature plus his wonderful sense of humor resulted in him being lovingly known as “Rascoli”
I had the honour of working closely with Bob and our friendship extended beyond our working years and I will miss him terribly.
My thoughts and prayers are with Pat and the Ascoli family.
    John Palmer

  6. I met Bob many years ago when we both started working at DOCS. Bob was always a very caring happy friend and I’m very sorry to learn of his passing. My love and prayers go to Pat and family at this very sad time.

  7. I haven’t seen Bob for 20 years but I have a vivid picture of him in my head: happy, smiling, a really lovely fellow. Condolences to Pat and the family.
