  3. So sad to hear of your father’s passing last night. Uncle Russ was such a gentle man whose faith in Jesus was such a standout. Each of you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers over the coming days. How he loved talking about hymns and books.

  4. Russ was my Mentor and friend for over 30years. He has been promoted to Glory and is now in the Presence of His Saviour and Lord.
Now Russ is hearing “Well done, good and faithful servant” from his Lord.
Judy, my wife, and I will miss visiting him upstairs, listening to his hymn playing on the organ, his Godly, wise and considered advice, his listening ear and prayer together.
Our prayer is for God’s comfort to envelope Judy, Kathy and Geoff and their extended families.

  5. My heartfelt condolences to Sarah and all the family. Praying for you as you remember and celebrate Russel’s life.
    Love Maddie xo

  6. We only knew Russel a little while through our friendship with Judy and Ken. Russel was a lovely man, pure of heart and unfailing in his generosity. It was a privilege to know him, albeit for a short time. We shared a love of cricket and had many discussions about the long history of the great sport.
    RIP Russel

  7. All our love to everyone – Uncle Russell was such a gentle soul who always had a kind smile for us all, a warm hug and an amazing garden.
