Passed away peacefully surrounded by her closest loved ones, on Saturday, 11th May 2024. Adored Life Partner of Denis Drake. Cherished Mother, Stepmother and Mother in law of Aisling & Kieran, Timea & Charlie, Melissa & Sam. She was a devoted & proud Nanna of her five grandchildren. Rhonda will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

Rhonda was always ready to show me how to knit . She was a precious friend to all the girls , and we will miss her wonderful sense of fun .. She was so courageous through her pain , gone from us all far too young.

So, where do l begin? The day Rhonda knocked on my door to introduce herself & her two daughters to me as my new neighbour was the beginning of a special connection 💕 Rhonda & l just clicked! She was very caring, understanding,fun, & most of all, there for me always, through bad times l had Rhonda 🥰 our love of 🍷 & laughs & music, especially late at night singing to “The Body Guard” you know the track! Much to the neighbours disgust, we always made the most of any catch up! Although we haven’t seen each other in years, we still kept in touch constantly & she was there like a HUGE hug with every text, life won’t be the same without her in it 😢 But l’m sooooo glad for that knock on my door waaayyy back on that day! & all those amazing memories l will keep forever in my heart ❤️

My dear friend Rhonda will be greatly missed. She was so generous with her time at our Knitting group to share her knowledge, patterns and skills. Always happy to see Rhonda with her smile and enjoy her company. My condolences to Denis and all her family.
