Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Beloved Husband of Evelyn, devoted Father of Keith, Wayne, Neville and Deidre, proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
Awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to sport and the community.
Ray will be remembered for his integrity, humour and quiet strength.
A service to celebrate Ray’s life will be held at Uniting Church Berry, 77 Albert street Berry on Wednesday 19th November 2025 commencing at 10am, followed by a private burial.

Ray was a true gem—a shining light in my eyes. He never judged, always wore a smile, and lent a helping hand whenever needed. His love for those berry magpies and his kindness giving me lifts to training from he’s laundry mat business at East Nowra shops made each moment spent with him special.
Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in our hearts. Thank you, Ray, for being a legend; your warmth and generosity will always be remembered. ❤️
